I-CREAte – Innovations for Community Resilience, Equity, and Advocacy
I-CREAte is a community-based participatory action research initiative that conducts meaningful and action-oriented research to improve the health and well-being of children, families, and communities in Kingston and the surrounding region.
The vision for this project is to develop and facilitate community-driven, socially just, research that is grounded in and responsive to the needs of our communities. I-CREAte is about learning from and with communities about peoples’ lived experiences of adversity and resilience to improve health equity and build more supportive community environments.
