POPLAR

Data Platforms accessible within INSPIRE-PHC-OSSU are foundational to providing data support for a learning Ontario health care system. ICES provides a comprehensive suite of primary care and population health datasets. POPLAR represents a growing area of EMR based data with the potential to provide real time data response to needs and gaps in primary care data support, especially as highlighted by the pandemic.

POPLAR will support and evaluate the roll out of Ontario Health Teams through a combination of projects and responsive engagement in the evaluation and support using both Applied Health Research Questions (AHRQ) and core projects supporting a province-wide team that includes over 60 investigators from 12 Institutions.
