Transdisciplinary Understanding and Training on research – Primary Health Care (TUTOR-PHC) is a one-year national capacity building program bringing together 12 Canadian trainees and 4 international trainees each year from a variety of disciplines from across PHC.
Ontario-based TUTOR-PHC trainees interested in learning skills for engaging patients and community partners in primary health care research are offered enhanced opportunities to engage in activities focused on patient and community engagement in primary health care research. Funding for these fellowships is provided through the INSPIRE (Innovations Strengthening Primary Health Care Through Research) program, the Ontario SPOR SUPPORT Unit, and Passerelle (SPOR National Training Entity).
