Study recruitment: Development of the Preferred Components for Co-Design in Research Guideline and Checklist: A Modified Delphi Process.
Are you a researcher, designer, journal editor, healthcare administrator, or patient/caregiver partner with experience related to co-design studies for healthcare interventions? We want to hear from you!
We are developing a guideline called the Preferred Components for Co-design in Research (PRECISE) to help improve reporting in research studies that use co-design to develop health interventions. This research study aims to prioritize the co-design components, values/principles, associated methods and outcomes to be included in the PRECISE reporting guideline.
Who can participate?
We are seeking a panel of researchers, designers, journal editors, healthcare administrators, and patient/caregiver partners who:
1. Have expertise in co-design (≥5 years of experience participating in, leading, designing, developing, implementing, evaluating, or overseeing the reporting of co-design studies).
2. Are at least 18 years old.
3. Have access to a device and internet connection capable of supporting online survey completion.
4. Are fluent in English.
What’s Involved?
The study involves 2-3 online surveys to gather your opinion on reporting items for the PRECISE guideline. The surveys are expected to take 30-45 minutes. Each survey will be open for 2 weeks, and there will be a 2-week break between each round. Total time commitment is 1.5-2 hours over the course of 2 months. All study activities are completed virtually from your home or workplace at your own pace.
